Delhi Lifeline Metro All Set To Resume Blue And Pink Lines. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) On Wednesday has started the Blue and Pink service for all in unlocking phase 4.0. Firstly, On September 7, yellow lines resumed for commuters and now slowly and steadily Delhi metro is coming back to its track. After the yellow line opening, now the blue and pink line is also open from September 9.
The services subsequently increased by the operational service will be extended from September 11.
DMRC has issued the notification regarding metro rail as 66 trains will be run on blue lanes performing almost 478 train trips during morning and evening hours for September 9 and 10 Whereas, the pink line will be operating in two sections 27 trains approx 228 trips will hold from Majlis park to Mayur Vihar pocket-1 phase. The rest of the 13 trains approximately will take around 291 trips from Trilok Puri-Sanjay Lake to Shiv Vihar. These two sections in the pink lane will run for two days said by Anuj Dayal executive director (corporation communications).
The services will be subsequently increased as operational timing of the services extended from September 11 as other lanes will also be opening in a graded manner.
The metro lane will be reopening from September 9, blue and pink lanes will be available in nine metro interchange stations from the existing 28 interchange stations from Wednesday. Also, the pink lane will provide the interchange facility to the blue lane at Rajiv chowk station, Mayur Vihar phase-1, karkarduma station, and Anand Vihar station and with yellow lane at INA Delhi haat and Nagpur metro station.
The entire metro rail services will be in operation for passengers throughout the day from 12 September. It will continue to run as it was before March 22, 2020, with all precautions measuring following social distancing and wear of face-masks, etc issue in guidelines.
